stylish orphan child and it's moving day!

Here's a picture of Jed at the new house. He was being very helpful one night and put his whole hand in a can of paint then smeared it in his hair. We took some pictures then cleaned him up and styled his hair. We called him our orphan child when we were at the house working because the poor kid was dressed like we picked him up off the street. He wore the ugliest sweater and pants from DI pretty much everyday, but he was still as cute as ever!
Jake and I decided it isn't a holiday in less we are moving so luckily we were able to close on our house last night... just in time to eat some turkey while we are unpacking. We are very thankful to have extra help from Jamie, Sarah, Kristi, Grandma Annie, and Grandpa Kerry. They should help get the job done fast. We are super excited to begin making big mortgage payments, do our own household maintenance instead of calling the maintenance man, and experience all the other benefits a happy homeowner enjoys.
